Summer Movies I Want to See – Part 1

The summer is about halfway through, and there are still a bunch of movies I want to see.  I’m going to use this post to list some of the movies left on my list, and provide trailers for them.  Hopefully I’m able to convince some of you guys to see some flicks you might have been undecided on.  Before going on, I warn you this list got fairly long.  Part 1 is up today, and part 2 will be posted tomorrow.  So without any further delay I give you the list of summer movies I want to see.  Enjoy!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince – The movie adaptation of what is arguably the best of the Harry Potter books.  Side point, I still think Goblet of Fire is the best.  I think this movie has the potential to be a lot of fun, but also much darker than the previous Potter films we’ve seen.  That should be perfect in leading into the Deathly Hallows.

Public Enemies – A gangster film starring both Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, whats not to like?  I tend to like just about any movie either of these actors do, so the both of them in one film really makes me want to see it.  Releases this week so hopefully I’ll get to see it.

Inglorious Basterds – A new Quentin Tarantino movie starring Brad Pitt as a solider who want nothing more than to kill as many Nazis as possible.  Its Tarantino so I expect tons of violence which in turn leads to a good movie in my book.

Funny People – A new Judd Apatow film that puts Seth Rogen and Adam Sandler on screen together.  There are a lot of people that think Rogen is over-exposed but I think he’s been great in the previous Apatow flicks.  Also, I really enjoyed his work in Zack and Miri Make a Porno.  The addition of Adam Sandler has me intrigued as well.  This movie looks like it could be quite the dramady.
